BORIS BREJCHA RAISES THE STAKES WITH NEW SINGLE ‘16 RED EVEN’ + RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO
One night. One bet. One track. Boris Brejcha’s latest single tells the story of a bad bet gone wrong wrapped up in his signature high-tech minimal sound
Boris Brejcha places all his bets on the boisterous new single ‘16 Red Even’, out June 27th on his label FCKNG SERIOUS.
The track was inspired by a real moment on New Year’s Eve 2024 — a tense spin at the roulette table that could’ve gone very wrong. Musically, it’s unmistakably Boris: a haunting lead, tight build-up, gritty rolling bass, and that punchy kick.
To mark the release, Boris features in a cinematic music video. In it, he appears as the Joker-style croupier, while his friend Jakob makes a bet he shouldn’t have. It’s a fictional story, but it comes from a very real place. Watch here: https://youtu.be/kb8_KYVQ-MI
‘16 Red Even’ has been a regularly tried and tested staple of Boris’s sets during his current Reflections tour, which features a new stage design by renowned events production company High Scream.
The stage for the tour features a futuristic structure built around a reimagined version of Boris’s signature Venetian Joker mask. Fitted with kinetic lighting and LED mapping, the setup brings the music and atmosphere together in a way that feels immersive. (see the setup here)
‘16 Red Even’ drops on June 27th via FCKNG SERIOUS, along with an extended mix. Remaining dates for Boris Brejcha’s Reflections tour can be found below.
