FANTASTIC REALITY RETURNS WITH 3-DAY MIXED REALITY FESTIVAL
os Angeles, CA - April 22, 2026 - After a sold-out 2025 debut, Fantastic Reality returns to present anexpanded 3-day mixed reality 3D live festival featuring many of the biggest independent virtual and VTuber talents* with Fantastic Reality’s house band and international DJs. 2026 headliners include Dokibird, Matara Kan, kson and Lilypichu alongside special guests including Chibidoki. Fantastic Reality also welcomes special takeovers with Dokibird and ANIBASH. The combined cross-platform social reach of the participating talent exceeds 24M.
Fantastic Reality teases a neon-bright techno-optimistic future, where human beings co-exist with virtual artists in a world of fantasy, reality and cutting-edge production design. For Fantastic Reality: Found Futures presented by IRIAM and Doki Doki: Rewind Time, our virtual artists will perform on never-before-seen 3D stages produced with creative partner and preeminent Japanese immersive experience studio MIGIRI. The festival returns to the Vermont Hollywood Theater, with its state-of-the art giant LED screens and L-acoustics sound system.

For 2026, Fantastic Reality presents three days of distinct programming. Night one is Fantastic Reality: Found Futures presented by IRIAM, headlined by Matara and the debut of Virtual Signal. Night two is ANIBASH:Crossroads, a co-production with dance music label Asahi Crew who promote high-energy, Tokyo-style club rave parties. Day three is a special matinee performance – Doki Doki: Rewind Time, a special concert co-produced, curated and headlined by Dokibird. (More info on each day and participating talent below.)

Found Futures will be headlined by Matara, kson, and Lilypichu accompanied by Fantastic Reality’s house band. Found Futures is also a night of many firsts – Matara’s first live concert, Lilypichu’s first live in-person concert as a VTuber, and first performances by Virtual Signal and Emilya Fell.
Virtual Signal is the first rock band featuring exclusively virtual talents Emiliya Fell (singer, songwriter), StarlightDaryl (guitar, composer), Chacha (guitar), conoco (drums). These four girls met online as Vtubers and made a decision to unite online and irl humans through the power of rock and roll.
Fantastic Reality’s house band is led by noted VTuber composer StarlightDaryl (guitar), accompanied by Riptidesan (bass), Goth Club Holiday (guitar) and OfficeDrummer (drums). VTuber Emiliya Fell will also serve as the night’s MC. The night’s talent has a combined social reach of ~13M. More special guests will be announced.

Fantastic Reality and Asahi Crew are pleased to announce ANIBASH: Crossroads, an unforgettable night of high-energy, Tokyo-style anime music, J-Rock, and electronic dance music. The night will be headlined by Ryu*, famed Japanese rhythm-gaming music composer specializing in happy hardcore, and for the first time Hoshimiya Toto, a virtual artist from Japan bringing a virtual 3D DJing experience never seen before.
The full DJ lineup is lead by Asahi Crew founders James Landino and KINO (B2B with Assertive), alongside Suzubrah, Hoshimiya Toto, Ryu*, and Hyper Potions.

July 4, 2026 Doki Doki: Rewind Tim
Famed polymath VTuber Dokibird announces her themed full-length concert with the Fantastic Reality house band, covering nostalgic songs from the 2000s and 2010s with a focus on punk/rock. In her first live 3D performance, special guest Chibidoki will join Dokibird for a mini-set and a few duets. Rewind Time is the latest in Dokibird’s long track record of creative directing ambitious, large-scale productions. The combined social reach of Rewind Time performers is ~14M.
As an annual tradition, Dokibird performs concerts on her birthday – and this year, that concert is Rewind Time. She will be joined by numerous friends and familiar faces in the Vtubing community to celebrate and sing alongside her.
Dokibird’s streams combine music performances, high-level competitive gaming (Apex Legends, Overwatch and Marvel Rivals) and more– she’s such an accomplished gamer that she even has a skin in Electronic Art’s Apex Legends and have reached Top 500 on the world leaderboard in numerous competitive shooter games.
