FISHER and bbyclose just picked Summer’s juiciest dance anthem. ‘Blackberries’ is ripe for the dancefloor and lands via CATCH & RELEASE on 18th July.
The sun-drenched sizzler is built on a succulent rolling bassline, bright synths and lush, wavy pads. Bbyclose seals the deal with a punchy, irresistibly catchy vocal that sends it straight into Summer Banger territory.
Bbyclose says, "'I think I met you in a dream last night' was a line that I had written down in my little red book of ideas for a couple months. We were in the studio one day and my co writer Stevie Appleton was playing these sick chords on the piano and the line came back to me. It was a super hot sunny day in London and we sat outside finessing the lyrics and Blackberries came to be. Fun fact, the song almost ended up being called Wasabi."
The hot new single’s already been doing bits on the world’s biggest dancefloors, including Ibiza superclub [UNVRS], where FISHER flies in every Thursday for his already-legendary ‘FISHER at [UNVRS]’ residency.
