GORDO x Reinier Zonneveld drop their VIRAL banger “Loco Loco”

Talking about the summer track of 2026 in February might sound a little "loco" – but not when a song like this drops. “Loco Loco”, the new collaboration between GORDO and Reinier Zonneveld, lands today, and it doesn’t just arrive – it erupts. A track so tight, so energetic, and irresistibly catchy that it makes you half “loco” before the first beat even hits the club floor.

Behind it are two forces that shape electronic music in very different, but equally powerful ways. GORDO – formerly Carnage, now a Tech-House heavyweight and global club influence – joins forces with Reinier Zonneveld, Dutch techno live-set legend and founder of Filth on Acid, who is no stranger to creating chart-leaning, crossover records that bridge techno’s legacy with future-facing sound design. Together, they've created more than just a track – it's a global statement.

The told story behind “Loco Loco” is as wild as the track itself. GORDO found an unknown ID in his inbox, started playing it in his live sets, and immediately he saw the crowd go crazy. The track exploded on social media, with well over ten thousand Instagram Reels, countless TikTok creations using the sound, and major DJs such as Adriatique, Mind Against, Hugel, Seth Troxler, Stephen Jolk, Vintage Culture, MEDUZA & WhoMadeWho spinning it worldwide – all before anyone knew who produced it. It soon turned out that the mysterious banger had been sent by none other than Reinier Zonneveld himself. This accidental collaboration sparked the Loco Loco frenzy, spreading organically through dance videos and club floors alike. GORDO and Reinier Zonneveld finally solved the mystery at the end of January, officially announcing their collab. The collaboration itself has been years in the making. “Loco Loco” originated from ideas Reinier began sketching years ago, writing and producing the lyrics before sharing them with GORDO. This early exchange evolved into a creative partnership driven by constant back-and-forth energy.

Sonically, “Loco Loco” is a high-voltage hybrid: GORDO’s House grooves meet Zonneveld’s relentless drive and passion for good music in every kind of genre. Sparkling synths collide with pounding drums, laced with an 80s synth-pop vibe that pushes the club energy straight to the main stage. The vocals shift between Spanish verses and an English chorus (“I want you, yea-ah.”) – simple yet highly effective. It's mad addictive, too!

Alongside his underground dominance, Reinier has repeatedly proven his ability to craft commercially leaning, chart-topping records without compromising artistic integrity - with records such as ‘Things We Might Have Said’ with Cari Golden, that achieved a BBC Radio 1 Essential New Tune and is a long-standing favourite for Pete Tong. The single was also the most popular track on Beatport in 2016, staying over a month on the #1 spot in the Top 100.

The momentum won't stop at the release, either. The 2026 festival season promises plenty of opportunities to catch it in action. Are you ready to get loco loco?

GORDO x Reinier Zonneveld’s  “Loco Loco” is now available everywhere via Warner Music Central Europe / Spinnin’ Records / Adore Music.
