On June 27, rising electronic artist Klaudie releases her debut single “Serenade for Strings” through Rony Seikaly’s Stride Records—a hypnotic, emotionally charged track that blends classical orchestration with modern minimal house.
Built around a motif sampled from an obscure Czech symphony, “Serenade for Strings” is a meditative, loop-driven piece that combines restraint with richness. “I came across this forgotten symphonic recording by a Czech composer and instantly felt something powerful,” Klaudie explains. “There was sadness in it, but also grace. I knew I wanted to bring it into my world—into a minimal structure where every sound breathes.”
The track serves as both a reflection and a reintroduction. Born in the Czech Republic, Klaudie started playing violin at age six and performed with orchestras throughout her youth. At 15, she left home to pursue a modeling career—an experience that expanded her visual and creative sensibilities. But in 2018, she quietly returned to her original passion: music. This time, she stepped behind the decks and into the studio.
“I’ve lived a few lives already,” she says. “But music was always home. This release is the first time I feel ready to share that truth, publicly and fully.”
Klaudie’s sound is characterized by its subtlety. Her production draws from minimal house and microhouse influences, while carrying the emotional depth of her classical background. “Serenade for Strings” is more than a debut; it's a cinematic reveal—rich in tone, restrained in structure, and deeply personal.
Set to perform at some of Europe’s most sought-after venues this summer—including Cova Santa (Ibiza) and Kiesgrube (Germany)—Klaudie is stepping into her next chapter with focus and intention. “My dream is to become a minimal queen,” she shares. “But more than that, I want to be understood as a real artist. Someone who listens closely, who feels deeply, and who’s constantly learning how to translate all of that into sound.”
“Serenade for Strings” is out June 27 via Stride Records.
