Malóne Morez kicks off 2026 with “Rushin,” a collaboration with Malcom Zeller out now on Blond:ish’s ABRA X.

Formerly known as Malóne, the Miami-based, Cuban-born DJ and producer is stepping into a new phase of his career. The move to Malóne Morez isn’t about reinvention - it’s about alignment. After years of building his name through marathon terrace sets at Club Space, steady international touring, and a disciplined approach to production, this release marks a clear step forward.

ABRA X feels like a natural place to begin that next chapter. The label has carved out space for forward-thinking house music rooted in groove and community - values that mirror Malóne Morez’s own approach to the dancefloor.

“Rushin” reflects that direction. Built around tight percussion, rolling low-end pressure, and a vocal that locks into the rhythm without overpowering it, the track unfolds patiently. It’s not engineered for instant peaks - it’s designed to build inside a room.

“This is probably the most aligned I’ve felt as an artist,” says MOREZ. “The music is more focused, more groove-driven. I’m not trying to chase moments - I’m building them.”

The record arrives after a transformative 2025, during which he spent the summer immersed in Ibiza’s club circuit, performing at Hï, Pacha, and key European stages before returning home to Miami with renewed clarity. As a resident at the legendary Club Space, he has spent years studying the art of the long set - learning how to move a room over hours, not drops. That discipline is at the core of “Rushin.”

Early support has rolled in from Jamie Jones, Blond:ish, Eli & Fur, Hector Romero, Nemone (BBC Radio 6), Calussa, Hunter/Game, Kant, Sasson, Eelke Kleijn, and Pirupa, reinforcing the track’s immediate impact on the circuit.

With Miami Music Week ahead, his Ultra Music Festival Resistance debut confirmed, and a run of major releases scheduled - including the 30-year anniversary reinterpretation of Funky Green Dogs' “Fired Up” on Nervous Records - Malóne Morez is setting the tone for what looks to be a defining year. “Rushin” is the first statement of that chapter.

Rushin” by Malóne Morez & Malcom Zeller is out March 6 via ABRA X.
