Max Styler launches label Nu Moda with debut single “You & Me”+ launch party celebration at Art Basel at Floyd on December 3rd
Max Styler announces the official launch of his new record label and creative platform, Nu Moda, with the release of the label’s debut single “You & Me” on October 17.
A decade into a career defined by innovation and evolution, Styler introduces Nu Moda as both a label and a movement. “Nu Moda is for me, my friends, and artists who inspire me,” Styler explains. “It’s a place to push boundaries, whether that be their production ability, style, or who they are as people.”
Max speaks on the debut single of his out on the label: “There was only ever one record that I wanted to launch my label with,” says Styler. “From the studio to the first time playing it live, it held an energy that felt fresh and intriguing. It fuses a lot of the sonic elements I’ve become known for while touching on some new textures, which is something I try to do with every new track. Listen, it’s just You & Me…and this is the Nu Moda.”
Nu Moda’s identity extends beyond music to a fully realized creative vision. The label seamlessly links form and function, drawing inspiration from urban life and subcultures. Its visual identity is a dynamic expression, featuring bold iconography and unique, homemade typography. Each piece of artwork incorporates embedded symbols and evocative imagery designed to conjure feelings and trigger memories, ensuring that the visual experience of Nu Moda resonates as strongly as its sound.
Nu Moda’s live identity launches this December with two key events designed to showcase the sonic direction of the label. The first will be at Floyd during Art Basel on December 3rd, in Miami, Florida. The event is from 11 PM to 5 AM and will be an intimate debut event curated by Styler, featuring a headlining set and special guests. This will be Nu Moda’s first official label event, curated by Max to introduce and showcase the label's sonic direction. The second event will take place during Miami Music Week in 2025, with the venue TBA, and will be a large-scale showcase during one of electronic music’s most influential weeks.
2024 and 2025 mark career-defining years for Max Styler. He launches his label Nu Moda this October and continues his first international tour, spanning nearly 40 dates across major festivals including Coachella, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, and Bonnaroo. His studio output dominates the charts, with six Beatport #1s in 2024 and four more this year. On Beatstats, Styler now ranks as the #2 highest-selling artist in the Top 100 and holds the #3 position in Tech House, climbing from #7 and #4 respectively. Named #16 on 1001Tracklists’ Top 101 Producers of 2024 after leaping 72 spots from the previous year, Styler continues to gain recognition as one of electronic music’s most consistent hitmakers.
