With the upbeat “Summer Haze” from Samantha James and Late Night Alumni, out today, February 13, along with its slower and immersive B-side “Closer,” Om Records unveils its latest offering from OM RECORDS - 30 YEARS, a compilation album celebrating the label’s 30th anniversary to be released on May 8, 2026.
In “Summer Haze,” Samantha’s warm timbre sets fire to a building deep house anthem that’s sure to be a fan favorite. Samantha notes that “‘Summer Haze’ has more of a deeper dance vibe, with contemplative lyrics that take you into the inner recesses of your mind — into those quiet, reflective spaces we all go to when contemplating life — while reminding us that, at the end of the day, we are never alone. John [of Late Night Alumni] and I really enjoyed working on this project together.”
Samantha wrote the B-side track “Closer” with her brother-in-law Sebastian Arocha Morton. “It’s super chill, taking you on a dreamy, ethereal journey that I hope transports you somewhere special,” she reflects.

“After all these years, it’s been really cool collaborating with so many artists I grew up listening to, with a label that helped shape my career. There’s something about this release that feels really full circle, and we can’t wait to share it with you,” shares Samantha on working with Om Records.

“Summer Haze” will join “Stay On My Mind” from Mark Farina, Homero Espinosa and Dani Siciliano, “Do It Right” from Groove Armada, and “The Sunshine” from Colette, Richard Earnshaw and Kenny Summit on the label’s landmark project.
