ONYX and AFT_r by MDLBEAST Kickstart their Summer Season with World-Class Performances

MDLBEAST kicked off its highly anticipated summer series this week, delivering two unforgettable nights of music at ONYX in Jeddah and AFT_r in Riyadh. With world class performances, immersive venues, and thousands of fans in attendance, the opening shows set the tone for what promises to be a season of music entertainment across the Kingdom.

 On Thursday, July 17, ONYX: The iconic Onyx Arena, with a high-energy night that brought stars both global and regional together under one roof. Headliners Swae Lee and Ty Dolla $ign delivered sets that had the 12,000 person crowd on their feet, blending global hip-hop with Saudi energy. Local Saudi DJ and producer Leen opened up the night's festivities, getting the energy to fever pitch right from the start. Lost Frequencies closed out the night with his signature house sound. The Onyx Arena, with its cutting edge production, sound, and unbeatable festival setting reaffirmed its status as a cultural landmark.The following night, Friday, July 18, Riyadh witnessed the opening of AFT_r: Music Meets the Esports World at the ANB Arena. Running alongside the Esports World Cup, AFT_r delivered a fantastic celebration of music and gaming. Featuring much of the same star-studded lineup from the night before, the show brought together global icons Swae Lee, Ty Dolla $ign, and Lost Frequencies, delivering dazzling performances that kept the crowd moving late into the night. Rising regional talents Nileboi and Bayou added fresh local energy to the stage, showcasing the vibrancy of the MENA region’s own music scene.

With upcoming performances from Don Diablo, Central Cee, R3HAB, Black Eyed Peas, Meduza, and more, both series promise more unforgettable weekends ahead.
