Factory 93 delivers one of its most anticipated releases of the year with “Shake The Nation”, a landmark collaboration between Riva Starr under his Hyperloop alias, Carl Cox, and Eliza Rose. Out on 15th August, the heavy-hitting anthem marks a first-ever link-up for the trio and a debut appearance on the label for each artist, with the LA-based imprint bringing together three of electronic music’s most pivotal voices for a commanding and impactful record.
A future-facing club cut driven by themes of freedom, movement, and unity, “Shake The Nation” pairs fierce production with an intoxicating vocal performance at its heart for a record that looks set to become an instant go-to peak time anthem. “‘Shake The Nation’ is a big room anthem, a call for the freedom and chaos we all crave on the dancefloor,” says Eliza. “It speaks to the power we have to move our bodies and create a sense of mass unity through music. Working with Riva Starr and Carl Cox is truly a pinch-me moment — two living legends that have shaped dance music over decades. It is truly an honour.”
Eliza Rose has quickly become one of the defining voices in UK club culture. Her platinum-certified hit “B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)” made her the first female DJ to hit Number One in the UK over 20 years, with follow-ups on Rosebud Recordings and collaborations alongside Calvin Harris, The Martinez Brothers, and Mura Masa cementing her breakout success.
Carl Cox, a true legend with over three decades of impact on dance music, brings his trademark energy to the track. “When the energy’s right and the message is loud — ‘Shake The Nation’ does just that,” he says. “This one’s for the people — full power!”. Known for his legendary Space Ibiza residency, pioneering live shows, and acclaimed albums, Cox’s position as one of electronic music’s most revered individuals sees him continue to push boundaries across clubs, festivals, and far beyond - perfectly exemplified by his long-awaited return to the White Isle for his 2025 residency at the island’s newest superclub, UNVRS.
The final individual at the helm is Riva Starr, the Snatch! Records founder and house icon who continues to blur the lines between the underground and crossover with effortless flair. Under his tougher Hyperloop alias, he brings a driving, dancefloor-ready energy to the project. “I’ve always been a huge fan of both Carl and Eliza,” he explains. “So getting the chance to work with them on such a massive anthem was a dream come true. Their infectious energy made the whole experience incredible”. As a long-standing innovator with a reputation for genre-fluid club tracks, Riva’s ability to connect house heritage with forward-facing production makes him the natural final catalyst for this cross-generational link-up.
