Seven Lions Ignites the Next Chapter with New Single “Hurricane”
Euphoric Trance Collaboration with Andrew Bayer & OAKS Serves as a bridge between Seven Lions’ 2025 Album and an upcoming companion EP
Out Today, March 4 2026
Ophelia Records founder and melodic bass visionary Seven Lions returns on March 4 with his next single, “Hurricane”, a euphoric trance-infused collaboration alongside Andrew Bayer and OAKS. The track acts as a bridge between his 2025 album Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars and its upcoming companion EP, serving as the first single from this expanded chapter of the album’s story.
With “Hurricane”, Seven Lions continues the immersive, emotionally charged world-building that defined Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars - an album hailed as Album of the Year by Dancing Astronaut. Where the LP reconnected him to the inspirations that shaped his earliest sound, “Hurricane” feels like a natural progression of that journey. Sweeping trance melodies, radiant builds, and OAKS’ soaring vocal performance converge over intricate production, delivering a euphoric yet cathartic anthem that expands on the album’s celestial atmosphere. Existing within the same mythos, “Hurricane” deepens the narrative and aesthetic Seven Lions has so carefully constructed.
“Hurricane” marks the third collaboration between Seven Lions and Andrew Bayer, following their celebrated singles “Places I Belong” and “Returning To You”, and the second pairing between Seven Lions and OAKS after the emotionally resonant “Past You”. Across each project, the artists have refined a shared sonic language that bridges trance, melodic bass, and cinematic songwriting - each collaboration building on the last while revealing new dimensions of their collective artistry.
The single arrives as Seven Lions prepares to embark on an album tour kicking off in April. The run will see him headline some of the country’s most iconic venues, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Brooklyn Storehouse, and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Known for his immersive production and emotionally charged live performances, the upcoming shows promise to bring the world of Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars - and now “Hurricane” - to life on an even grander scale.
From his 2012 Beatport remix contest win for Above & Beyond to building Ophelia Records into a defining force in melodic bass, Seven Lions has amassed over a billion streams and cultivated one of the most dedicated fanbases in electronic music. With Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars, he honored the essence of what first inspired him to create; with “Hurricane,” he expands that vision outward, bridging past and future in a surge of euphoric momentum.
“Hurricane” releases March 4 on Ophelia Records.
