The Martinez Brothers serve summer heat with their vibey new single 'TAKE YOU HOME,' a massive collaboration with legendary producer Mike Dean and his protege Apex Martin, with vocals from rising NY artist SASH. It's out on 3rd July via Empire.
"TAKE YOU HOME" is a genre-blending transcendent journey through Sound, combining The Martinez Brothers' signature house grooves with Mike Dean's legendary sonic signature, Sash's fresh perspective, and Apex Martin's unique touch. The New York duo's lovable blend of rap energy with 4x4 dance rhythms continues with 'TAKE YOU HOME,' which finds SASH's smooth vocals gliding over a shuffling house beat, layered with a playful 8-bit melody and airy synths. It's a boundary-pushing sound just as at home in the R&B room as it is on a packed Ibiza dancefloor.
'TAKE YOU HOME' drops during a huge 2025 for The Martinez Brothers. The year began with their first official DJ Mag cover, followed by a global CircoLoco tour, a Coachella Quasar stage appearance, and a 4th season residency at Hï Ibiza, voted the world's number 1 nightclub, featuring guests such as Black Coffee, Marco Carola, and Skepta. As Island staples, they also helped launch the new superclub UNVRS B2B with Joseph Capriati in May and kicked off a world tour in June.
Bronx-born siblings Chris and Stevie Martinez grew up immersed in music, ranging from gospel, salsa, disco, and soul through church bands and family jam sessions. They began DJing in their teens and quickly made a name for themselves in New York's underground scene. Since then, they've become global icons of house and techno, holding long-running residencies at DC-10 and Hï Ibiza, headlining Met Gala after-parties, and collaborating with Latinx and international stars such as Rauw Alejandro, Fuego, Tokischa, Rema, Tommy Genesis, Mochakk and more. Now deep into a new creative era, they continue to push boundaries, dropping fresh rap-inspired cuts on their label Cuttin' Headz and redefining what it means to be next-gen tastemakers.
