AN ALBUM CELEBRATING OM RECORDS’ 30TH ANNIVERSARY
SET FOR RELEASE MAY 8, 2026
Following the releases of “Stay On My Mind” from Mark Farina, Homero Espinosa and Dani Siciliano and “Do It Right” from Groove Armada this month, Om Records unveils “The Sunshine” from Colette, Richard Earnshaw and Kenny Summit today, January 30. These three songs and more will appear on OM RECORDS - 30 YEARS, a compilation album celebrating the label’s 30th anniversary to be released on May 8, 2026.
In Om Records’ latest offering, the label’s first lady Colette joins forces with the production team of Richard Earnshaw and Kenny Summit to deliver “The Sunshine,” a positive house banger for letting all the stressors go. Colette’s sultry voice invokes the declaration, “Today I know I can find my way into the sunshine,” as the song builds and bubbles into an anthemic triumph.
“I’m excited to share my new release, “The Sunshine,” with Richard Earnshaw and Kenny Summit. It’s dropping on Om Records as part of their 30th anniversary, which makes this one extra special for me. Om has played a major role in my journey as an artist and continues to influence how I make music. We put a lot of care into this record, bringing our sounds together to make something that honors where house music comes from while still being present in today. I’m so grateful that I get to celebrate this milestone with Om. Being a part of the Om family has been everything to me,” shares Colette on the new release.
Before labels like Dirtybird, Experts Only and Monstercat there was Om. Legends in the game and survivors of the past thirty years, Om — with over 800 releases under its belt – has withstood 9/11, the Dot Com bubble and burst, Napster, the birth and impending death of downloads, the recession, a global pandemic and political trials & tribulations, all the while still releasing great music. The Om Records - 30 Years compilation will highlight some of the best the label has to offer, as one of America’s first and longest-running dance music brands.
Om became Colette’s creative home in 2005, releasing her most recognized work and introducing her sound to a global audience. Highlights include "Feelin’ Hypnotized", "What Will She Do for Love”, and "When I’m With You” a collaboration with Kaskade.
